My Travel Bucket List
People always ask where I like to travel since I work in the travel industry. I travel quite often but I also find myself headed to the same places. Over the next few years, I hope to get to see some new locations. So, in the spirit of new locations, I decided to come up with a Travel Bucket List that I haven’t been to quite yet! These are all places and experiences that I hope to get to before I turn 40! What are your most desired Travel Bucket List locations?
Munich Germany during Oktoberfest - I always dreamed of visiting Germany. I took German in high school and it was a total bucket list location for me ever since then. I fell in love with the German language, I love pretzels and the beautiful Christmas Markets that I would see in my studies. As I got older I realized there’s also a giant beer festival that I’d love to experience. Hoping to head there this year - pandemic permitting!
Lake Tahoe - The beautiful crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe have had me enchanted for years! I’d love to jump in and paddleboard one of these days and possibly even photograph a wedding, elopement or engagement session while I’m there! The hiking in the area looks incredible too!
Havasupai Falls - This hike has been on my bucket list for quite some time. It’s about a 10-mile hike IN to the falls and you have to obtain a permit. I’d love to camp out once there and just swim and play in the falls. Then hike back out the next day. From what I’ve seen and read this is a hike and experience to never miss if you’re into adventure, waterfalls, hiking, camping, and fun!
Grand Canyon - I’m sooooo ready to just behold the vastness and beauty of the Grand Canyon. Especially at sunrise or sunset.
Bora Bora - I mean who doesn’t want to experience an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora where there are tropical fish, crystal clear lagoons, amazing spas, and gourmet dining experiences right outside your door?
Northern Lights - I’ve always wanted to experience this phenomenon. In Finland, there is a gorgeous camp area with awesome little glass igloos to experience the lights. You get your own private viewing area. How cool is that?!
Well, there are my top travel bucket list items and location. What are yours?! I love to hear in the comments below!
