Disney Springs with a Toddler

Looking for some great things to do with a Toddler on your visit in Walt Disney World?

HERE’S A SHORT LIST OF MY TOP 5 THINGS TO DO AT DISNEY SPRINGS WITH A TODDLER.

While visiting Florida for a cruise in March we decided to bring our son to visit part of the Walt Disney World Resort. We unfortunately didn’t have enough time to spend within the park system itself so we decided to head over to Disney Springs for the evening and we found that it’s got so many amazing FREE and FUN things to do with a little one.

Legos
The first stop that had our son ECSTATIC was the LEGO Store. He loves to build with LEGO’s at home (currently obsessed with DUPLO’s at age 2) and was sincerely giddy over the EXTREMELY large Hulk, build-your-own race car section, and hands-on play tables available. We spent the better part of a half hour just letting him do his thing building things brick-by-brick!

Pizza!
When it was time to finish up at the LEGO store we found a quick place to eat to satisfy our hunger after playing SO HARD at the LEGO Store. We found Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza and couldn’t be more happy. As the parent of a toddler it’s sometimes hard to get our little guy to sit for an extended period of time so pizza was the best choice. Blaze’s took our order and got it out to us lightening fast. We found a booth inside, enjoyed some craft beers while our son ate, made friends with another child by waving and making silly faces through the glass to the outside seating area.

Train
We did some shopping and I taste tested the ever popular Millennial Pink Champagne at Amorette’s Patisserie (while my son enjoyed the Pink Minnie Mouse White Chocolate topper.) We didn’t get to ride any of the ever popular rides in the parks but Disney Springs had a cute little train ride. I believe it was about $1-$2 to ride and I took him on it because in addition to LEGO’s - trains are life!

Strolling Piano
There’s a Strolling Piano that cruises around Disney' Springs as you are shopping and eating. It is great for little ones who don’t want to sit and have a lot of energy. They can slowly follow, as you follow behind them, listen to the fun music and dance!

Splash Pad
Our final stop was a fun one. For those really hot days and nights there is a Splash Pad/Water Area! It’s right by the Goofy' Candy Co. - so after you get your kiddos all sugared up (HAH!) you can let them run around and cool off in the Splash Pad area.

There are numerous things to do and see at Disney Springs and many of them are FREE!

NO MATTER WHERE YOU DECIDE TO ADVENTURE TO AT THE WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED. THE FOOD + ENTERTAINMENT HERE IS MAGICAL. DISNEY SPRINGS HAS SO MANY AMAZING THINGS TO DO FOR YOU AND YOUR TODDLER.
